Well, Veegie, DoorM4n is a Halo 2 modder...therefore he is most likely used to seeing Master Chief with the cubemap and thus thinking a raytraced reflection is not what it SHOULD be like.

In other words, it doesn't look like it does ingame is what he's trying to say methinks.

We've already established that. And that model doesn't even have a simple raytrace reflection. Your story doesn't add up.
