I am making a mod loosely based on the movie serenity in that I am making some vehicles and weapons in a kind of reaver look. Also I will change some of the human weapons. This is the first model the ravager banshee. It looks kind of crappy but it is supposed to look lke it was stuck together out of a load of spare bits and of course it is smeared with blood. If you saw the movie you would understand.

If anyone who has seen the movie has any ideas or models etc. they would like to contribute, post them here. Any opinions are kept in mind. But dont be too mean, for the mod is only in its early stages.

maybe edit the mc model a bit to make him look a bit mangled
you could add a pelican and make that another reaver ship...that could look sweet. but meh i dunno i aint good with ideas

WORST MOVIE EVER

it was horrible the plot line suxorzed

doesn't matter if you think its the worst movie ever....plus it doesn't matter if someone likes it and you don't....he asked for input on his mod not a critic of the movie!

and seeing as youve seen the movie it would have been nice to give him a few ideas or thoughts of what he could put into it.

fire fly was good in the beginning then i totally went battle star galactica

its just that serenity was all like it tried to be futeristic but the models and ideas of the movie looked terrible now you want a good movie, The Island that vehicle the wasp i think it was was crazy good

oh Star Wars Episode III best graphics ever. ok any ways that is an interesting skin very circutry/tile like

i dont like it that much to plane of color. gray and red and a few other shades of gray.... woo.
but the idea isnt that bad keep trying it can turn out much better.

Well it is meant to look pretty simple. Besides this is just the first model, there will be others. But the scorpion will remain the same. It will just have a new skin. The vehicles are meant to look similar to the reaver ones in the film however I think i'll put a different twist on it. For example there wont be reavers (peopl who eat people).

And I have to agree with General church. It was pretty bad. But hopefully the mod will be better.

Still open to ideas.

Sorry for the double post. But here are some pics of the scorpion in the same theme.

Definitely not smears of blood. Try to take a look at the real blood bitmaps and use those for reference.

I know I'm not great at blood sadly. Although keep in mind in the mod, they are not splatters (except for the wings of the ravager, thats for when you hit people with the wing). They are actually decorative. I'm thinking of making the characters Vampires who decorate their war machines with the blood of their fallen foes. I got the idea from serenity's reavers.

EDIT: Here are some early pics of a new model I'm working on for the rocket launcher. Do you think It should stay reativley the same or should I clean it up?

Nice mod, I liked the movie, but the TV show was much better. Go out and get the DVD set of Firefly.

I feel so betrayed I love firefly and serenity :'( and i'm guessing what you meant by Ravenger based ships you meant reavers.
