My halo fangame...

...based on my comic series(link in sig)
i got extreme beta pictures! i just started today, and the engine is nearly complete...I gotta give the grunts a bit more of AI(they ust stand and shoot now)...if i still want to work on this game, the majority of it will be worked on during the summer(after exams)
things expected to be in the game:
-2 player battle(1 computer)
-a story(based on the comic series...)
-smarter AI
-coop mode*
-smart elites with swords/plasma rifles*
-vehicles(probably not gonna happen, but maybe some levels where u drive them, but not being able to also walk around)
-and maybe other things...
*-Ill try to do
anyway, pics...(MC is in same place in both screens cuz, i was too lazy to move around, but all his animations and movement are complete)

edit:
forgot to mention...the only weapon available throughout the game will be the smg, any other weapon would involve me making the engine way different, changes some physics(which isnt easy, i dont know if its even possible in tgf...) i guess the pistol will work too, but then id have to change MC's sprite...a lot...

shit, i just realized that in that first pic...it looks like hes throwung the gun, hes actually dying lol, i have this one key (backspace) to kill myself and restart the level when i want....he throws the gun when he dies
noone probably has noticed...yet...that there is a health bar in the top right corner...

just make the response time for the gun faster plz it takes a few seconds for it to start fireing
and also could you try to add nades?

sorry about the gun thing, when u hold down ctrl, it kinda just fires when it wants to

, but after mastering it, its easy to control, kinda...i could try grenades, but i dont know if i could do the whole bouncing off walls, bouncing on ground thing...and if a newer beta is demanded, i could release the new one...its better cuz the grunts dont shoot from their heads and there are 2 elites at the end
ill see if i could fix the smg

^sure, if you want to design levels...just make them like a bmp of jpg file and ill make them into a level...

3d would be nice, but TGF is a 2d game maker, unfortunatly,unless u kno how to make 3d games...
anyway, the new version of that mini beta level is out...

i orignally had 2 elites, but friend had trouble killin them, so back to 1, i think i fixed the smg problem, grunts are fixed...and a health pack was added, not like you needed it anyway

Nice...
But:
You still live if you fall in the pit. The grunts need to die faster, and have bigger bullet spread. The Elite doesn't have a face

And the gun needs to shoot a bit faster in respond to CTRL.
I hope I didn't offend in anyway, just giving some critic.

Update! (I hope this isn't considered bumping, since it's my thread, I dunno how things work, maybe I should read the rules, I just don't want to make a new thread.

With that said, I present to you...
An update!
I just restarted working on this.

(I changed the level a bit since these screenshots)
The green thing above one of the spartan's head's is the AI friend. I just put the AI in today so it's retarded, only fires at close range and doesn't know what taking cover means. It can jump at necessary times though. The engine is still under construction, basically the only thing done with it is movement, different firing for each weapon, enemy ai(is meh), grenades. Still pending to put reloading in the engine.
I haven't put photoshop on this computer yet, so I'll have to dig out my other one to make new textures and stuff. (I'd switch hard drives, but theres a screw in this laptop that won't come out)

lol the final boss. Er the only boss.
Edit:
I just realized how long it's been since I showed an update.
This new engine includes grenades, like every weapon(except snipers and rockets). Sword lungin, etc. Crouching was removed though, too glitchy with the new engine, the les crouched but the rest of the body stayed in air. Also fixed my AI friend, Jimmy, he's not stupid anymore lol.

Nice update, I think this is the only 1 year bump not in Outstanding that's actually worth checking out.
