I really gotta learn how to do this better. HK47 held my hand the way through and I wound up with a really mediocre render, but I sitll don't understand wha tit was I was doing.

Looking good dude, at least now i can see the rubber. Still work on the rubber and armor, the visor is good. Alright, here is a materials test of mine, tell me what you think:

Very nice material, maybe the lower leg rubber is overbumped though

Nah, if I use the original bitmap it wouldn't look that way. Maybe I shuold use burn in the leg section then... thanks Wells.

change the pose so it looks like hes walking. reflections still seem a bit high.

Actually that was the intention Because he was made for a snowy area for a CGI scene planned for a machinma.

This is different to help with masterchief models! I'm trying to get the texture map for the longsword working, but so far, no luck. Its a model from Halo PC, and the map doesnt match up with the model. Is there an easy way to fix this?
I say old chap, I rather fancy a spot of golf.
