My first render.
Model is of course, straight from halo 2, same with textures.
I can really only post a link (who wants me to post a 6400x4800 image any way?)

The render is sub-par, but why is it so high resolution. It only gives away the effect on the normals of bump mapping.

Yeah, hell, I atleast made custom specular, reflection, illumination, and diffuse(somewhat, I edited the old ones...) maps. His is just...blah. >.<

this is just me trying to skin Hang Em High. im pretty much a complete noob with 3ds so it doesnt look right.

That isn't too bad, good job fixing the UVWs...got a bigger view of the map? And try adding some more lighting, I can't quite see the bump maps so well.

well heres a different view. lighting is really bad but i was mainly focusing on what my floor and stone materials look like.

There isn't any shadows in that, it actually looks like default max GI. and there isn't stone like that in Halo.

Yeah, I'd say just use the default Halo textures, but you need to get an opacity map on the lights in the bottom right, there's a black square around the lights.

Just wanted to say ajem's is nice, and I finally got my POA model correctly UVed (took me hours just to figure out that all the UVs were upside down...) Well, I'll upload my first render with it to my site (it's another 6400x4800) and post a link in this post. Note: no lights. didn't want to bother with them cause I wanted you to be able to see the inside slightly

It's the Genisis, btw. I decided to make the model (through the use of jahrain's BSP exporter, which I take back everything Ive said about, it was my stupid OBJ importer that wouldnt import the UVs, but I fixed that) for my video series, for those scenes you just cant do in halo. (like big space battles with Flagships and the approach to the XXXXXXX at the end of "Landing" [you'll see, well, if I get people to help...])
