Well, I can get 'em placed by copying everything from the ghost's jmad over top of the warthog's, but keeping the warthog's limb placement, but as I mentioned it breaks some idents. Do you know a way to do it without breaking anything?
Also, it'd be nice to be able to position the feet, if possible.

Well, I saw some stringID's for the driver positioning..something like mongoose_d. Not quite sure if it will work though.Snaku wrote:There's a mongoose animation? Or did you mean the custom animation used in the mongoose mod?Monkey Terd wrote:The mongoose animation has the limbs placed for handlebars.
Formerly known as Limpmybizket.
the feet can be positioned if you add the marker to the vehicle and add the right string ids to the jmad.

Looks pretty good, I like the new version better than the old one. Can't wait for the download.

trust me when i say it takes a while to do things like this, heck even with RTH it still took me a while just to get my skull positioned right.

truly brilliant. now it sounds amazing. any ideas how your gunna go about getting rid of that eyesore part of the ghost? it doesnt seem to realy need too much re-skinning. its kinda pretty impressive right now. i think it would be really nice if you gave it some new bump charicteristics. maybe give it a unique shading or sumthing you know..
i say let mc use his weapon while hes on it. umm, in other news.
im looking forward to seeing the final project.
many kudos. and good luck.

"what better place than here, what better time than now."-rage against the machienes-
I'm probably gonna' take the ghost out of there completely. It just doesn't fit very well.
As far as bumps, I've asked around and done a LOT of searching and I still don't know how to do them. I keep hoping someone will see this and think it's a worthwhile project and tell me the secret, but so far...
As for the weapon thing, it should be possible, but I'm not really sure how. I mean, I guess you could use the upper animation from the warthog_p and give it limb placement for just the left hand. Then I'd need to figure out how to switch the right hand into the dual wield animation, so that he's not holding the smg in close like he wants to put his left hand on it. Yeah, it's possible, but I don't think I'm gonna' be doing it.
And yes, these things take a LOT of time. I spent all my free time for two or three days straight getting the stingray just the way I wanted it and that was MUCH simpler than this project. I think I need to get ahold of a debug bios and set up RTH because without it, I spend forever going tweak, ftp, load the game, select the map, run to where the bike is, look at it and decide I don't like the tweak and need to do it again.... that's a very time consuming process.
