Looks like you've identified the bloom intensity :D Excellent :D
Did you get the colour values proper? Or do you want me to try and get them again? (although, off memory, I only got the base colour to change, not the bloom colour [which was still white...mixed with the base colour])

In fact i didn't continue that research, i tested some shaders from SP maps, and i am regrouping "cool" shaders into one map(like bloom/transparent,glowing shaders), as reference shaders and some customized shaders too, and of course once i get what i want i'll release the patch for that map with the shaders.

I am creating bloc box's for each shader tag, so that way i am able to test multiple shaders at the same time:

Here 3 box's from left to right : bloom shader, distorsion shader(+ 3rd person "reflection") and a metal shader

I thought a reflection in Halo 2 was not possible. Excellent! I can now put on my MasterChief Make-up!
The maximum signature size is 500x120px at 75kb.

That's not like a reflection, if it was the reflection we are looking for then in that cube you'd see the front of the player

And that reflection shader show's the back, which is not possible on real world for a reflective surface, so that's not like real time reflection :?

It only "reflect" the objects, when an object is in front of the reflection cube and the camera is behind the object.

It reminds me of the water shader from Coagulation (if I remember right).

Good work on the shaders though. I'm glad to see somebody's doing a lot with shaders. No good skin is complete without tons of shader swaps, so the more you discover, the better skins can become.

Nice Neodos. So is that the sniper rifle FP shader you were talking about, the camera? Or did you learn how to recreate it in another shader?

It's not the sniper rifle shader, it's a shader based on static_water shader as Chad said ^^ you could get that shader from my bubble shield tag, just make a flat bumpmap with the bubble shield shader and you'll get the same effect.

Thanks for doing that for me while I was gone. Keep in mind that that was done months ago... I'll look into it more now.

I editted some stem and shader stuff to come up with that. Wont work without stem editting, wont work without shader editting.

It shows a surface you look at. Though its all stretched over the sniper because of its UV's. If you applied it to a box like neodos did, it would probably show the actual picture...

Hope RTR'll work.

RTR is real time reflection. Our first try at it is going to be to make the MC's visor reflect everything around him, instead of using a cubemap.
