just thought id give a bit of good critizim:
that last render of you'res xero looks pretty good but the one thing that i dont like is the ground...it looks almost too flat it dosnt seem to have and depth or anything its a good render dont get me wrong i like it but the ground looks to flat although it has that texture and stuff it still seems to look flat...
i dont know how you can change that but keep it up looking good.

Yeah when you render with light tracer on it make makes thing with textures look funny that is why i can render it with the mc until there is away to mix the hdr with the armor to make it render nice same with the ground it is just a simple plane with a normal on it nothing special i may try to give the ground an hdri next time

You do relize that that rule doesn't apply here, right?
Good.

Ross, I LOVE it.
Try to give some sense of depth, a bit of blur or something on the elite. And try to give the metal plane a sense of horizon a bit. Arching or something or another.

looks EXCELLENT Ross. I suggest doing what veegie said, with the blur, but i would also suggest a new bumpmap/normal map for your elite ;)
Ask me on AIM or something and i can help you make a good one

Not bad! Work on the materials a bit and spruce up the environment and it'll look kick ass.

Yeah, the bump he used is the one i made custom, so the helmet IS a bit messed up. ah well, no one is perfect.
