I like the banshee one, 'tis very nice. No too keen on the FP Models, although I suppose it's just a start.

Very nice there Ben. I think my only gripe is that it lacks depth in some areas (most noticable on the helmet). I love the visor though =D

got a few i made in max, i do know that the scale of detail maps are off by a factor of 10, fixing it soon, just want tp see what u guys think of the idea behind them, also, in the second one, any ideas of making better banshee bolts and banshee contrails in photoshop, i can't seem to figure it out

I know little of rendering, but wouldn't it be quicker and easier to just do that ingame and hit the screen cap?

I think you could do the bolts using video post...but as for how the renders are now, I like where they're going.

and geo, its harder then going ingame and getting screen shot, since getting the angle at the right time would be hard in it self, good idea though

Yeah, I mean I understand when people render scenes that aren't normally possible within the Halo engine, but with renders like that surely it'll be better ingame.

Good job though, it looks ok.

Use the Catmull-Rom anti-aliasing filter. Area sucks. :|

duplicate layer
filter>gaussian blur>25%>hit ok
set blending mode to hardlight, lower teh fill opactiy so the image isnt too dark, but still looks shiny.

that should help ;)
