And for the pics, they are ok. How ever some don't look to well, to blurry or under detailed.

I can't afford the retail versions, and I would prefer not to have any watermarks on my renders.

By the way, I've found a way to convert the Black and White MC bumpmap to a rgb normalmap (which is very significant since I'm using a Mac, and I can't find any normalmap generators to convert it).

So far it looks MUCH better than the crappy version I posted earlier.

You realize that converting a height map to a normal map isn't going to benefit you in anyway?

It's like upscaling a 480p source to 720p and speaking highly of the quality difference.

Unless hes talking about halo 3, that wouldn't work anyway. They were all fucked up before the pallete was found.

You don't know how crappily blender treats height maps in comparison to normal maps.

Just wondering why would you use Halo 2 cubemaps on the Halo 3 Beta Chief. It doesn't even look good.

Never render that big. PLEASE

Your chief has halo 2 cubemaps on his armor at like 100 percent. WTF Remove it completely.

Also, make sure your pose looks good.

Try making better lighting and use more armor colors than white.

Edit: This is Render Gallery Submission. Only post work that is final, has a full scene, and looks good.

Use the render support thread for stuff like you posted please.

XD shoulders look like an action figure shoulder...should fix that. remove cube map. fix the brick on the walls...don't line up at all >.<

Everything except the wraith is way too reflective, and I think it would look better if the phantom was less blurry. But all in all, pretty good.

shadows are to dark. Pelican and wraith and that civilian car is to reflective. Make the map have a bsp on its own. phantom is Way to dark. Tank looks awesome though

Done in Vue 6, The carrier model was done in 3ds max and textured with photoshop.

that is what i call a very reckless shipmaster! :D
