Yeah. I did an animation of it. 350 frames(I think) of animation. Averaging 5:20 per frame or so. I think it finished in about 31 hours. I'll upload the horridly compressed .mov in a bit.
Any other misc comments on the armor? Perhaps a list of the mistakes. I know there are tons, most obvious. But a nice list would be great. I might have some free time in a few weeks to touch it up.

Looks like either some type of UV, smoothing group, or displacement error on the right bottom side of the helmet; resembles a crack in the second image.

He looks like hes extremely drunk. Maybe if it only played once it would look right. Im still loading the .mov.

Materials are all right, but the animation lacks. Good idea but bad production. What are you using as your biped bones, bones and IK or a biped system? Your arm seems to be stretched (out of place) out way too far when he pushes himself off the floor, and there are other mistakes too.

ha, veegie thats pretty cool. But im not sure, when hes bent over after standing up somethings off.... but im not quite sure. I think it might be that he is leaning to far over if he was just standing up off the ground. IMO

Every aspect of the rig and the animation is from the game. Complain to Bungie I suppose, HHH.

I like the idea of recreating a Halo 1 or 2 cut scene with high def textures. But with the armor, like you said, it reflects to much. The detail maps seems like it needs a specular. It looks as if you just applied a bump detail map, and no specular. The visor looks real amazing, It looks almost real. Unfortunately, the visor is so good, it makes his armor look not so good.

You can take animations from halo2??

Or did you do it yourself based on the game?
