I do not mod halo, so please do not send me Instant Messages asking how.
Also, do not send me pm's regarding modding halo.

I would assume you could use something like Adobe After Effects to simulate the glow also

yeah i could, and i could probably do a good particle in it too. but if i were to ever make an animation, i would have to spend so much time donig each frame. so if i could learn how to do the particle, itd be so much easier.

That looks NOTHING like the camo bump, and particles can be found via google.

Yeah...
That
Is
Not
The
Active
Camo
Bump

That is Jean-Luc's bump. Use the active camo, the one you need to extract from the mainmenu. Do not say that is it, it is not.

yes, but techinically i own these materials. its like a rom, as long as you own the game you can legally have the rom as long as you do not use it for personal gain, take credit or something else. im only using these as a hobby to pass my free time in rendering.

It's not a question of whether or not you own it. Explain to me how it is not redistributing copyrighted materials.

Ok new update on DI again, Ive been working on the lighting. Trying to focus it more on realistic lighting rather than ingame. Does anyone know like the opt settings for GI with mental ray to kill some rendering time?

I don't think the ground is shiny like that. Unless you wanted it shiny on purpose.
