ok like in Merk's Sigma sharpshooter
he removed part of a Model Cylinder makeing half of the cylinder see through IF warlord did this the same thing would happen.
this is also visible in caboose (cant remember whos model pack) it has a rocket launcher and the cannon is see through.
the BITMAP is what makes it not see through and sometimes the bitmap dosnt go where it should when you move it or it shows up where you moved it and not where its supposed to cover.

Did you make the front into a tube instead of a flat surface? I suggest you close off the front and let the RL barrel's big black spot hole simulation cover it. Sure, it's not as realistic, but it'll get rid of that annoying model hole. By the way, the model ingame looks different than the one in the render.

your right and wrong thereExplosive American wrote:Railguns do have recoil, but it's minimal, since there's no really strong force pushing the projectile, it's just gently accelerating it.
rail guns and gause cannons both use the same method of shooting
small electromagnets that are lined up in or on the barrel, and activate in succsession so that it pulls the bullet along the barrel and launches it without the explosion, also it provides more thrust since it dose not involve expanding gasses, wich will compress some when shooting and take away some vital thrust. but yes they have a kick, not as much as normal chemical guns, but still enough to bruise depending on the size+velocity setting

meh, looks ok. you got a stray vertice. tapered barrel doesn't look good, imo.
also, don't forget that gauss and rail cannons use compressed air bursts to start the projectile moving.

Dude. No. Do you even know who Katarn and Snaf are? They are some of the few 1337est modelers that have ever set foot in CE. =D
