Yeah that'd be sensible with a render 50ft away...

Yeah and also not to be a smart @$$ but i also didn't say the blue base was barely starting the construction, nor did I say it was nearly complete. But since I didn't mention it I am now, it is close to completion. This was written to get things straight on the construction part.
Yeah, you were right about the parts on the back. And I wasn't attacking the lack of construction; I merely thought that it would look cooler if you made it look like it was under construction instead of just saying it is in your post. I doesn't have to be a dramatic change to the render. Simply knocking of some chips of a few stones and such would do.

[sarcasm]Ok next one I am going to take the render one foot away...[/sarcasm]
*EDIT*
And to SHOUT I shall give it a try to make it look as if the base is still under construction. So at least it would look as if it were, instead of a unfinished base.

Do not instigate conflict when someone is trying to help you manage your resources effectively...

Then next time you might want to say something to the person who made the scene instead just replying to someone else's post. And if you don't understand what I meant than you should read DJ_Gnomey's post then read yours. I am not trying to start anything but if you were trying to help me then you should have told me something. But that is for next time.
He was pointing out that it's a waste of resources to use high resolution textures from a distance when you could use lower resolution and achieve the same effect.

Indeed...much like how games use mip maps, where textures/models use a lower level of detail as their distance from the camera increases.
Well if Veegie would have said it like that, instead of it sort of replying to DJ_Gnomey's post than I would have not been sarcastic. But it is too late now. I understand what he was trying to say through Tural and GTAF.
Since you have a scene, you should use raytraced reflections instead of cubemaps. And the poses just seem weird. With the red one, if hes climbing up like that his palms should be flat and fingers flat as well so he can get some grip.
