I'd like to thank the moderator that did that. I also like how I see literally hundreds of other double posts. And better yet, the double post was LEFT with that edit in it. Great job.

The reason that the scratches are black is just because of the lighting. The green and the visor look brighter because of the cubemaps for whatever reason, so I had to have dim lights so they would look right.

OK, I'll try not to write so many worthless posts. So... Here is a picture I made yesterday after playing Cairo for like the 500th time. The darker side of chief. Remember kids NEVER show cameras in front of Spartans. Enjoy:

Ok this is my best render with Halo1 MC, if you have trouble finding his left leg, look in his visor; he is kneeling down.

I actually think your visor looks cool. But the weird thing is, is that you are using cubemaps that also use real time reflections, which totally defeats the purpose of cubemaps...

I said like....and actually you kind find that type of effect on real metals even if it really is just highlights...just not that prominent at all lol

what would you suggest doing?

I'd suggest asking for help in the support topic.
What is so hard to understand about that?

And Ben, that effect reminds me of Dragon Ball Z. Also, unless he is throwing it forward right there, his torso needs to be twisted more.

lol I was just about to say "What is this, dragon ball z?"

Chief cow, you should work on your skin a little, it may just be the light but it looks a little messed up. Also, I saw you made your own bump map for the H1 MC. I can't remember did you make the bump black bumps on a white BG? (don't post just PM me

)
