Maybe it's one of those gametypes where you don't start with a weapon.

And maybe the orange Spartan just spawned...and the blue Spartan is a spawn camper!

Well I finally finished my new little black rifle on Sat. :D so I have had a little time to work on rendering. Here is an updated picture, Chief is now using sort of a fireman's carry due to the mass controversy surrounding his actual strength :wink: . By the way in the other pose he was not carrying the marine around, it was supposed to be more of a "Oh crap! let's get the heck out of here!" pose, almost like dragging... Well I suppose if you have to explain a picture it is not done properly :? Anyway here is the new one:

Battle Rifle and Visor materials need some cosiderable work, but the pose is better.

Also, the knee scratches are messed up.

What's the big deal with the Marine's bumps? They are just the ones extracted with Ch2r.

I will work on the BR, thanks. Also, did anyone notice the light coming off the display of the BR? Do you think I should make it brighter or darker or remove it or what?

I also think I need to make the visor a little darker. Am I supposed to use the MC's diffuse for the color? When I do it looks a little to silverish.

exatcly, the ch2r ones don't look right if you just apply the normal filter to them. look at this image to see what i mean:

Not once did I ever say it was bad, Veegie, I was saying the bumps don't even look close. Don't put words in my mouth. I know you hate it when people do it to you.

Aren't you supposed to invert the alpha channel before using the filter?

the ch2r ones don't look right if you just apply the normal filter to them
The 'ch2r ones' are the game one pre-conversion. Unless you have the algorithm the game uses to convert the bumps to normals, I suggest you stop complaining about their usage.
