They always were in game and in the books. It would be incredibly uncommon (Near 0 chance) that there would be a Hunter by itself.

Do you mean using the images from the game, or creating a new one from scratch?

I tried following it but I got stuck at the 1st step...the extraction of the bitmaps. I went to ui/global thing and I didn't know how to change the but map.

Yes, but the guns have a different material. They need reflections.
@ the person needing help with emblems. If you can't figure out how to extract them, just use this.

The guns have reflections? I thought it was using the objects\vehicles\ghost\shaders\ghost_metal shader which doesn't reflect.

I could be wrong, but it thought they had reflections.
By the way, check the bottom of this. It now includes how to set up the emblems with pictures. And i will post the correct .uvw later on tonight.

Edit: i remember now, they look better with reflections. I added them in for that reason. Meat_grinder looks great on them.
EditX2: i uploaded the uv map for the emblems in the first post of the link above. It's not 100% correct, but you can tweak it to you likings.

tsk, it impossible to get them to look in game, like veegie said, we, NONE, of us have the render they do except them, and, i dunno, microsoft? but yea, i can only get them that close. ill weld the verts.
