Would the ghost shot... the MC would lose his foot... :P

The ghost glow is pervect, but you shoul add the particle effects, because you can'tt really see whether the ghost flying...

You should render the scene using HDRL :o That would probably make it look better :)

Armor seems like it's been dipped in oil as Veegie said a long time ago. And the rubber's a bit too dark.

I'm sorry, I meant that the main bump map is Jean's. The deatail bumping was totally me.

I don't like the backgrounds you use benman. :)I'd advise against using a cubemap, since that's what I think you said you were using. Is there an option to just have a image background?

It's an interesting concept though, but as other people said, it doesn't look real. I'd say it's more of a ceremonial armor, or armor not actually used in combat. He'd be easy to see in combat with armor that reflective :)

yeah i was commenting on the detail bumps, although jean's is also awsome. i'm trying to expiriment with bumps like those but havent found anything i've really liked yet

i basically just googled tileable textures and tested a bunch until I was happy. They're currently set to be tiled 20x for the rubber and 30x for the metal. The metal doesn't look "metal-ish" up close but I think it looks good from about 3-5 feet away.
