[WIP]Tom's Room

For the past 2 weeks or so, I've been modeling my room off and on. I've got the basic room layout done. And am now furnishing it.

I have a question though. Should I model in all the cords and wires? Like if I do a 4-5 sided cylinder? (if not that's ok, just wanted to cut back on pollies as much as I could seeing as its ~15k right now.

Wait..Your modeling your room, and so far just the computer and keyboard is 15k polies? Thats....a lot Looks cool, but it seems crazy that its already that high.

No theres more, like my walls, bed etc. Just those aren't done. The keyboard alone is 7k pollies.

Holy crap dude. Thats way too high if thats just scenery. Or is MC going to be action figure sized in the map, in which case, he would be playing on the desk.

if the MC is going to be normal sized it would be better to have the keys all one plane with a picture placed on it.

You need to have the mc be able to press the enter key and then the tool box opens up and a huge gun comes out LOL.

Correctamundo. He is roughly 1.5" tall in real-life. And its my whole room, so there will be some custom content etc. This is going into H2V so there's going to be a few easter eggs only possible in H2V. =)

Finished the front end of the computer.

(replaced the old computer picture with the new one)
