Ok... that took you one hour?... It looks more like a couple of minutes worth of work. Have a lot more to show for your next update.
Take the smoothing off the ramp, and get rid of that lathed spline fountain. No, really, it won't go ingame.

Dude. No. Do you even know who Katarn and Snaf are? They are some of the few 1337est modelers that have ever set foot in CE. =D
Thanks... i think
I intend on keeping the fountain and it will work ingame. Granted it may not look all that good but i will work ingame. If waterfalls are pissible along with coursing rivers than so is a fountain (The halo 2 CE team assured me it was possible and i agree).
Oh and i'd like to see you build that in a few mins SnaFubar. It was built over 6 months ago before i started seriously modeling and i thought i'd pull it out of the dust pile and fix it up a bit.
Oh and there was no smoothing group placed on the ramp that i intend on removing.
thank you for your comments.

Unless that fountain is a sealed, editable poly/mesh, NO, it won't go ingame. open edge errors/bad collision. I could easily do that in a few minutes, lol. You must not know my work. I spend that much time on a base's detailed exterior.
As for the ramp, select the slanted polygons that make it, and the horizontal polygons it's attached to, then go to your smoothing groups and hit clear. you don't have a crisp edge between the two, rather, the shading on it makes it look curved, as there is an obvious gradation.
Keep working at it. Hopefully your next update has something more to show. also, try clay rendering to show the details (once you have some), ok?
When creating your bsp, also try to keep it non-linear. Have high and low points, etc. Try to create a 2 level base in the same style as the Delta halo ruins temples are.
Note: Don't ever challenge me on my modeling capabilities, you're just going to embarrass yourself. The masses will decend upon you in a frenzy of "lol's", linking you to my extensive amounts of projects. You're better off saying something closer to "I'm not familiar with your work, but what do you mean/suggest?" rather than "i'd like to see you do that", ok? Good.
Should you have any questions on any techniques or approaches to getting something done, I'll do my best to point you in the right direction. Have fun modeling. If you haven't, I would suggest checking out modeling tutorials. I'll get a list together of some good ones if you would like. you seem good at altering primitives and attaching them together, and screwing around with splines and modifiers, but I don't know your skill beyond that.
Again, I'll give you pointers if you want (as will many other people here will).

I'll be glad to help you after today. My whiplash is pretty bad today... i had a car accident a couple of days ago
I can help you achieve what you want, but the mix of pain, muscle spazms and painkillers is really making my mind cloudy... So, once I'm "normal" again, I'll be glad to help you out.
Also, nice achievement on G.O.W. I don' have a 360 yet, I have to buy a PC for work/school, costing me almost 2 grand.
