Can you tell me a little bit more on what you mean? to blocky? dosen't look right? not detailed enough?

A reason it looks bad is because it was the least viewable spot in my refrence...

You messed up the blades. Well, not the blades, technically, but you left out the joints that attach each blade to the gun.

And btw, Doom, it doesn't matter what position the blades are in:
In another post someone said something about them being too straight but they are going to be animated later anyway.
The blades roll up on the hinges while the weapon is idle (and very possibly for reloading), and then unfurl into that v-set formation when active.

Well atm this model is going to be fore Halo 2, so there will be no need for animation. Where did you happen to hear, get the info that the blades will move according to the action?

the handle looks like a little thin strip. i mean, this is a weapon for a BRUTE. beef up the handle. it shouldn't be some little wimpy thing like that.

I noticed a spike on the back of the handle also, a small kinda razor so I added that, I fixed the handle so its thicker and the uvw map is about 80% done for the whole model.

Its just the small details on the gun left uvw wise.

I might need a texturer, but I am not sure, if you think you are fit for the job you need to know how to create custom texture, becuase that is what this model will most likely be made out of. Not some pieces from other bitmaps. Anyboday happen to have a bruteshot metal kind of texture? I am thinking that texture but darker.
