Hi guys,
just gonna show you my latest work. I'll briefly explain how i created it and then, if anybody wants me to, i'll create a tutorial on how to achieve something similar.
The basic method, was to take a black and white photo of my halo figure, and to then manually paint it in photoshop (allowing me to add many details), after 'colouring in' the black and pic, i then composited him into a quick background i made. I finally added shadows, and lighting and colour balancing to get the final image.
This was only done as a test, so im sorry about it not being done at a very high resolution ( it was very late at night and i wanted sleep! lol)
Anyway, whats your thoughts, and should i create a tutorial?

he he , yeah lol
I had problems with his right calf. I had him balanced on my computer speaker in a funny way, and it just didnt look right. in the end i just gave up trying to fix it and just erased it (yeah, i know it was lazy, but it was very late - 4a.m and i needed sleep)
Thanks for the comment llama juice! i'll get started with a tutorial.
I've got another quick test picture here. It doesnt look like much, but it was fun to paint in all the colour. (has anybody seen that film 'pleasantville' which is black and white, but characters have been coloured in? - it reminds me of that)
