I have a question, since my graphics card sucks I'm going to be using the Xbox version of this. However, will any features be lost during the conversion? Like, will I be missing out on something that CE Players get?

Really, 1 region per model on xbox? What about them floods, how's that work? I'm not as familiar with the xbox as I am with Ce, but I'm just curious.

Don't know. But I do know that one of Knave's ways to prevent his Halo: Custom Edition mods to be converted to Halo: Combat Evolved for PC and XBOX. He would add an extra, unused permutation to his models.

I believe the extra permuation model or region knave used procted his models from hmt editing. I believe xbox should have all the features of the CE one, unless the map file size of our mod is to big. Some of our maps we couldn't even add a new weapon without killing tool.exe

Also, I don't know how long we will have to wait until CMT xbox, or what tool will be used to port it.

I know that this is a really picky oservation but... for the new digital direction display, I love the idea, but there is no north or south on the ring. The arrow points towards threshold on the original AR, so will north be defined as UP and so on around? I guess it's not really that important, just a thought.

Great idea though, I love it :D

[edit] I really like that pink sky in the fifth pic :shock: :lol: will that be in the final

EDIT: that pink sky was originally for some of the sp maps like the Slient Cartographer but I don't think its still being used cause the silent cartographer sky is a sunset

Are you trying to make the AR look like the Xbox AR? Try giving it a multipurpose. It looks really nasty if you add some texturizing effects to the base texture, so make a multipurpose map for it, and add the scratched up stuff there. It will look shinier and the scratches will look more realistic and less plastic-y. Also remember that in the multipurpose, red is for cubemaps, blue is for detail maps, and green is glow.

Blue is color change, you can apply detail maps to all of the diffenr't collors depending on what you set it to use in the shader.

Blue : CC
Green : Self-Illumination
Brightness : Cubemap control
Saturation : Intensity of glow\cc\spectacular.
Detail map masks are selected by a setting in the shader.

Which part botehrs you Kirk? Teh numbers or the background of red? I think tomarow we will change the background of red to be black, like on most allarm clocks.

Thanks for the compliment on teh elite, I wasn't sure how people liked them, the reflections are more real, but the color on the gold and black elites look no wear as cool as it did in h1.
