That pic is the active camo normal map and an additional bump. It's about as close to ingame as you can get outside of the engine.

So it is Impossible to get an odst to look like it does ingame? not accurate but something along the lines.

You can make it look somewhat like it, but not EXACTLY like it, unless you have their rendering engine.

OK, I have gotten the Chief Camo bump converted into a grey scale bump that looks the same when rendered, so now I am going to try and make some other bumps like the grey scale one, wish me luck! 8)

How do you set up true cube maps in 3ds? How is the texture itself composed?

Under any channel, set a reflect/refract map

Then change the bullet to "from file"
Then asign each of the 6 directions to their corresponding files.
