Claustrophobia and Q3A Longest Yard

Of course, I'm going to be a huge fan of my own maps, but I hope that you all might like them as well. First off, Claustrophobia...

This is a symmetric map that I created by blocking off the entire outdoors area of Standoff. I then put teleporters at the entrances of each base so that when you teleport out of one base, you teleport into the respective entrance of the other. There are shotguns, assault rifles, plasma grenades, frag grenades and battle rifles in each base. The shotguns and assault rifles have a relatively low amount of ammo on spawn in order to ensure that player cannot simply spam shots in tight quarters. Gameplay revolves mainly about outplaying the opponents via prediction and restricting them from entering a specific area via well placed grenades through ricochet. I highly advise using MLG settings when playing on this, otherwise you are simply running around with an assault rifle spamfest. Here are some pics...I refrained from posting a pic of each room of both bases, as they are symmetric and I figure you can probably figure what the other side looks like based off of each picture.

My next map is a remake of a Quake 3 Arena map called The Longest Yard. This map makes players focus on accuracy and reaction time due to the open feel of it. There is a custom powerup, meant to be an overshield under MLG settings, where the quad damage normally is on the Q3A version. There is a sniper rifle where the railgun would be, and shotguns where the shotgun would be. There are also grenades on each main platform, except for the sniper platform. I found this map extremely fun in small team games, but I'm sure a big team battle under MLG rules would be frantic as all hell. Please enjoy.

NOTE: I made a small change to two of the teleporters, making it so that the receiving node at the center of the bridge and at the custom powerup face down. This has no effect on how you teleport there, only on the view of those areas.

I hope you all enjoy the maps. I cannot play, unfortunately, because my 360 got the rrod, but I'm expecting my new one any day now. Happy fragging everyone =)
