This application will allow you to extract usermaps and gametypes stored in films. It saves them as blf's so you must inject the maps into a CON file (and of course resign) before you transfer the file to your device. It opens only Halo 3 film or clip files. You cannot extract a usermap or a gametype from Halo 3 campaign films as they do not contain them. So don't waste your time trying to do so.

You can extract the assets from any non-Campaign film and clip, this includes Forge and MM films. If you extract a usermap and it is completely empty, that means the film contained no usermap(ie default map).

I want to thank Lux for all of his help. He's a really awesome guy. And always Supermodder just because he's fucking great.

What can I extract from a Forge film?
would I be able to get a Forge gametype?
and then do this...

My guess is no - that was probably a glitch of some kind. Worth a shot though.

You can extract a usermap, but I don't think the Forge gametype will work.

I might need to have to do some redesigning on the UI. ;p

Nice job, though.

It does what it needs to do. The only improvement I can think of would maybe be Extract buttons on the main screen by each section.

I know that, but if you've seen any programs I've modified (Take "I Can Has Cubes", for instance), they look very nice.

It is always essential to have a nice UI. It improves the look and feel of the program. And DrXThirst does good UIs.

Well, yes, but what is a "nice UI" can be debatable. For a simple application sometimes what takes the least space and is the most usable is the best option, rather than working just to achieve a prettier look. But it depends 8)

Lessen the space at the bottom and it would look fine.

There's not much you can do to make it look better.
