Web App. Player Snapshot and Emblem Generator! Another One!

Brilliant! The Poll mucked up... Which I decided to blame someone for but never mind...

Seen as no one has released or managed to unlock the secrets of the halo 3 map (sorry for any misunderstanding...) signatures yet we need to stick with making applications that have less to do with modding that we would like. I would certainly like to get back into C and create a nice Halo 3 tool but unfortunately I can't as yet!

I wouldn't have posted this if I didn't think it was an improvement to the generators that have already been made...

So I made a web app. It is in a similar sort of layout to the downloadable generator made by Tural a while back but I didn't copy it in any way. I collected all the information myself and made the app myself.

It generates player models and emblems using the bungie website but also gives you extra details on all the options you can select.

I am thinking of making a stat retriever to collaborate all your halo 3 and 2 stats onto one neat page (or image) soon or if this one goes down well but for the moment this is all I have. Enjoy! :-)

Anyway I think that's enough said. Try it out, see what you think and maybe give me some feedback.

What? It's very simple. Use cURL and GD PHP libraries to accomplish it. That's been posted several times. Just because nobody is shoving the direct code in your face doesn't mean the information is secret.

Ha! Halo 3 Map signatures. If you actually looked at the site you will have seen that I have used cURL to make some of the site... :| Did it not strike you that the rest of the paragraph didn't really make sense if you took it to mean a forum signature. C is not a web programming language.

I like how it loads fast and you spelled recognized wrong on the site for recon.

Americans have slightly different spellings for some words for some strange reason.

So they spell it like "recoginsed" in Scotland? Shouldn't it appear to Americans since most people using it will be American?

Ha! OK, thanks for letting me know. It should be sorted now.

Have you tried clicking the question marks for more information yet? Overall that bit took me the most time. The rest of the coding was fairly easy.

For the commando shoulders, you have it set as, "unlocked by the killing frenzy achievement."

Bungie's latest update states that it was for the Steppin' Razor achievement.

Everything else looks great though.

When did bungie say that? Everywhere I have read it was meant to be unlocked by the killing frenzy achievement but it was bugged so bungie are unlocking it in the auto update.

That is weird because literally everywhere else I have looked says it was supposed to be the killing frenzy achievement.

Halopedia says it, the killing frenzy achievement but it was bugged, I'm not sure whether I should change it or not...

What does everyone think?

The lists you see online are based on the strategy guide. It has been wrong on several occasions. I trust Bungie over that inaccurate guide. Halopedia isn't Bungie. Prima isn't Bungie.
