You're just restricting the flexibility of the libraries by doing that.

Isn't having more files also slightly easier to manage? In terms of code and organization.

I've got no idea how to code in C# but will learn someday. I only know a bit in the Visual BASIC language.

That's nice.
It's still virtually useless.

Cool, Although I was able to update before you posted that like around 5PM eastern.

You might want to update the XML File with an available attribute. ;)

Hey guys I'm rather new at this... So I extracted my maps and got Engineer but when in there, I can't get much to work.... Is there a way to extact bitmaps, Models, Meshes yet?

Also, openning Shared.map is an insta-crash ( Says failed to open preview image then there's a bunch of error windows and you have to hit quit until it crashes).

Probably been found but I haven't read the whole thread :)

nice update, I really like the reference viewer addition. and as a side note, the support_high/support_low weapon tags still crash on me.

You and everyone else.

There is no set date for asset extraction. Nobody can say, "Well, it will be done in two weeks." There is little-to-no progress as far as I know, so don't get your hopes up for anything anytime soon.

I know how it works.. a single user has to work on stuff make his plugin figure how the data and make something that works... what I meant is rather if anyone heard of projects on it or in the contrary if someone stated it was unbelivably hard and that nothing would be ready for years.

You don't always have to read each of my post by the books to hapily make me pass for an idiot you know. ( that's assuming you have something better to do of your life..)

I addressed that, so I don't know why you're clarifying when your request for information has been met.

Because it takes so much of my life to type out a simple message in 15 seconds. That's not a clich

No idea when. But once it is possible I will do my best to make Engineer support it.

Yeah I checked into that the problem seems to be caused by a reflex that has an extra chunk reference that does not point to any meta. I cant really fix it since its a problem with the maps themselves, but I could add something to catch the error an avoid a crash.

Go to Tools then Settings and set the map folder option to the location of the folder on your computer that you store your maps in. Then make sure you have the images folder from the halo 3 disc in that folder.
