1.2 is still being worked on. Ive included the features that are done though, like the close map and clear all slots options.
Thanks man, great work.
I was wondering if there is a format for the images that I could just make my own and have them work, or if you just linked the ones that are already made.
I updated to v1.15, and opened an extracted .map. It opened and displayed the slots correctly, but when I click 'Find' I receive this message. The map is chillout.
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I just tested with your map and it saved fine for me using the same build I released here. Are you hitting the OK button after u change the value and not just closing the dialog?
Edit: Fixed a few more bugs
- Find feature now works
- Goto feature now works
- Close map doesn't disable edit menu anymore
I dont know what happened between 1.1 and now but I broke alot of stuff
i did it again and made sure to click ok and it still didnt work. shade can you send me the one you saved so i can look at it and see what i did wrong maybe i injected it wrong or its because i have vista...

Its not because you have vista, in fact there were a couple of bugs because it would load only on vista.
@shade45
Found some Bugs.
-"Edit Slot Index Entry" just change the 4 same objects that you can see, not the others.
-"Close Map" closes not the map, because when I try to edit it with an HEX Editor its allready in use.
And I got some things you could add for the next version :
-Better Overview (Tree-Hierarchy ?)
-Smaller Icons (It pisses of to klick all the time the < buttons ^^)
1 Question :
Is it possible to change 1 thing to something thats not in teh game ... ehm ... how could I describe it ...
Like you click "Edit" and you can Change the Object like when you´re using "Edit Slot Index Entry".
ok i got it to open and work but were to i get the stuff listed here in the
Setup:
In order to properly read a usermap you must first set your map folder in the settings menu to a folder that contains all the original unedited Halo 3 disk maps with their original filenames. Sandbox will use these maps to access tag information when reading a usermap.
are these maps listed on the xsata or are they downloadable off line.
You can get the maps from any of the DLC without having the disc (obviously). Just take them off your HDD and use wxPirs.
Also, unknown, shade made this require the maps so that the app can get all the tag names for you rather than just give meaningless idents (I guess a possible workaround would be a database of all the idents and corresponding tag names). And also the empty slots at the beginning of a usermap are there because thats how the game creates them; it has nothing to do with Sandbox (although Shade is working on a feature to hide slots that arent "Added").
Tural is making me intrigued with his cryptic hints of a new app though.
