Moving Shield doors

I have seen that you are able to move guardian's on snowbound by changing their coordinants. I was wondering if the same can be done to shield doors on epitaph and snowbound?
I have never changed the coordinates of anything before, and have no idea what program to use either, so I would really appreciate it if someone explained it to me...
Thanks!

They are not stored in the usermaps, so you can't edit them.

But then how are people able to move the guardian's on the outside of snowbound?

Because those are stored in the usermap?

I know very little of these matters but I'm assuming since
Bungie created usermaps without the sheild doors, you statement is incorrect.

Bungie can do anything they want though. They have no limits.

But still, how does Bungie create a usermap with no shield doors if the doors aren't stored in the usermap? Wouldn't that be making a new map?

They said they had one of their guys make a "new" Forge that allowed the editing of shield doors.

yea, but since its going into matchmaking it must be readable by a standard copy of halo 3, therefore making it possible to replicate.

It does coincide with the release of AU2. So there may be some adjustments to usermap files that aU2 allows it to read...??? >_> So wait until its out and then study it ;p

Why don't you take a usermap from Snowbound and open it in Forge or Sandbox and tell me if you find any shield doors?

So after bungie releases their new snowbound couldn't we just look at that usremap and see if the doors are now editable or moveable

Yep, unless they change the usermap structure completely. But that would render all previously-made usermaps unusable...or they could be rolling out these new maps as totally new .map files, but that seems like overkill for something so simple.
