Question about current modding situation?

I came on here for the first time in like a month and saw "Oh, snap, Halo 3 modding." But it appears that all we can do is change objects placed in Forge. Is it worth buying an XSATA for, or will this type of modding soon be obselete? If modding will be getting better, I'd rather save my money. Thanks.

Buy a cheaper version of xsata if you are worried about the cost. Talismoon do a really good one called usb mini spy which I use and you can also use the microsoft xbox 360 elite connector cable to connect, which you can get on eboay for about £10.

I would say if you want to mod/play mods it is worth it. It is the only thing we will be able to mod without hardware modifications for a long time.
