Data transfer with Xbox HDD Transfer Kit?

I was looking for a way to transfer data from the 360 HDD to my computer without using XSATA or XPORT. So i did a bit of research and i found this Microsoft product: A cable with the HDD imput on one end, and a usb output on the other.
So can't I use this cable with Xplorer360 to transfer data? I just thought this would be better since its cheaper and its in stores.
Thanks!

That is for transferring data from one 360 hard drive to the other (Upgrading from 20GB to 120GB), pretty sure it will not work Xbox 360 > PC.

It also labels folders with their game title to more easily find game content.

yea if anyone don't want to buy that cable they can do what i do... take the harddrive apart and connect it with a SATA data and a power cable.

That comment was unnecessary.
If anyone did not know they had that option they probably don't know what they are doing.
