HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hey, I think we definitely need a "Halo 3 Forge" forum. I really don't like the idea of having just one thread that is for user content. I'm sure some people, like me, want to release their forgings in it's own thread with a mod-like layout for the post.

So, what do you guys think about it?

I think it's a reasonable idea. Forge is a huge part of Halo 3, and this community certainly has a large number of people participating in map-making. I don't see why it should be any less approved of than the modding boards. It would help to get more activity and more participating from members, as the User Content thread hasn't proved to be a successful way of handling something like this.

Forge IS Halo 3 modding until futher notice....

I don't see anything wrong with it, that being said.

Yeah I though it was a good idea, I just hate talking about Halomods when i'm trying to play Halo!

Alright, well can anyone give me an estimate on when it may be added?

I support this idea. I'd love to be able to discuss Forge stuffs.

I like this idea. As Tural said, Forge is a huge part of Halo 3 and HaloMods.

I also agree. I see it as a good thing. And it can always be removed if it doesn't fly good.

Why does it need to be "added?" Just post your forge maps in Downloads; because like Kirk said, Forge is practically the only modding possible at this point.

I think it should be a separate board, regardless of that. Downloads is for mods made with tools. We'd end up needing another board later, when modding becomes possible, and we'd have to move all the Forge topics. Save a lot of trouble and just make a different board for Forge.

It appears the user-created content thread has been moved, to a location that doesn't exist. I suspect that's a good sign that the section actually exists somewhere on the forum.

I can't wait.
