If you're trying to help someone, and you link them to another website to help them, is that considered advertising?

Referring to my own post here.

I'd say not, as long you're not saying stuff like, "Check out these tutorials, and also check out my site it might help. Join if you want. It's awesome. Join. It's teh lulz."

As long as people aren't forced to register to see the content on said site, that type of comment is allowed.

Of course, if someone goes around saying that in every post or something, it would be disallowed.
