A lot of the tutorials are very old and may not work as well, as new ways and with newer programs, or not at all.

I think the tutorials (some) should be updated and show how to do w/e it may be in the newer programs and stuff (Entity 1.3, the best version of Entity so far IMO; how to do stuff w/ newer plugins that are out; no more insolence stuff unless really needed; a lot of plugins should be updated, a couple i tried to use that a tutorial said i should didn't work; etc.)

A lot of really good tutorials (like adding warthog neons, adding teleporters, etc.) use old programs like Insolence and have very old plugins. The plugin for the warthog neons didn't even work for me so I can't even do that to any of my maps...

This is just a suggestion but it would be very helpful to everyone. It's probably up to the people who made the tutorials too if they have the time to update/fix them but yeah.

That is quite a good idea, but we are left at the mercy of the users of Halomods.

If you want to re-make a tutorial with current programs, feel free!
We're more than willing to go through and remove some of the older tutorials and replace them with more current ones.

I've already moved it Shout.

In between ranting and doing nothing I've been cleaning out some outdated or otherwise useless Tutorials from the submissions board.

I may try re-making a couple of tutorials or so but I'm not too good w/ some of the good programs yet. I'm getting better and I'm gonna mess w/ some stuff using the info from the older tuts to figure out how to do some of the things in newer/better programs.

I think if you come to a board where the whole concept is to have the staff read your thread, you should probably follow the rules.

Minimum wait time to bump is five days.

There's not much more discussion to be had here. Do what you wish, but we can't force people to make updated tutorials.
