Why does everyone keep flaming everyone? I think it needs to be stopped, or people should be getting in trouble.

Seriously, I think Coco, JK-47, JunkfoodMan and I are the only ones who posted in the "H3 Manip" Thread in the Gallery without flaming. I agree that the pic wasn't funny, but there's no reason to say things that mock other people's humor just because it is different than your own.

We aren't talking about a specific event Ravnz, that part was just brought up. Do you have any idea how many times I've been spontaniously flamed at during my 3 years of being at Halomods? Un-countable times and nothing happens to the flamer, nothing and I'm pretty sick of it.

Hey, while your at it, someone might as well add a contest to the HM contest forum "Who can be the biggest ass?". Since, flaming isn't a big deal.

Sry but to be honest you are the dumb because you are the one who carres about it.Just ignore it and they'll stop and if they don't try to backfire it with smartness.

First of all JK-47, you've only been here for two years.

Secondly, if you can show me a few different threads in which people have recently flamed you, I'll take action.

But until then, I'm really not doing anything. The main cause for creating this thread was the unfunny manipulation, in which you could have expected to be criticized.

I gotta agree with Cocofang. There's a difference between "criticism" and "flaming".

Here's a comparison:
Criticism: "I don't like it."
Flame: "Elementary school called; They want their sense of humor back."

And I find something extremely ironic.

With Spartan666 I got a warning for keeping the flame war going. No one got a warning for that for starting the flame war in the first place.
In my manip topic, no one gets a warning for flaming, or a warning for keeping the thing going. I clearly asked them to stop but they felt like it was neccisary to keep the flaming going so no one stopped.

Seriously, other than making a picture that you don't find funny (which is no excuse to flame) did I do? Seriously all I did was make something that was funny to me for the moment, now its not funny because you guys pissed me off. Wow omg JK-47 made something thats funny to him! LETS FLAME HIM! No, humor is extremely personal, I'm not going to change the way I think to fit in with your humor, I didn't post it especially for a specific person because I knew that at least just one person would think it's funny.
I was fine with Ravnz's post and Ghost of Church's posts because they noted it wasn't funny in a calm way, the didn't go "Omg you phail at life, its garbage and it r liek...ELEMENTARY OLOL!".

And no, I won't drop it. Im getting fucking sick of people on this site who think its ok to flame, and get away with it! Its freaking rediculous.

I also have no idea why I got flamed in my topic. I didn't call on a flame war, and I did indeed think my picture was funny, and seriously thought someone else would.
Would I get away if I decided to be Halomod's biggest ass for a week? Yes. Would I do it? No. Like I said it is NOT ok to flame, and the rules clearly state it, and its just never enforced until the war pulls in ooldes of people in.

But yes, there definatey is a difference between criticism and flaming. And at least something should be done. Such as a 2 day ban for a first offense.

It's definitely not 3 years...it's just two days over two years.

I suppose I'll start cracking down more on flaming.

But by getting upset arguing back with them, you were provoking the flaming. If you had said "please stop flaming me", they would have stopped. But responding in the ways that you did just made matters worse.

I also think the matter with Spartan666 was a little different than this. He was just an asshole who wasn't even an active member of our community.
