well, the cafe should not count to ur post because peoples post count because ur supposed to post w/e u want but when something might turn out as spam is locked which isnt right, if this isnt fixed or changed im leaving this site cuz thats just plan gay

why? The cafe can be maintained as a spam free zone. I honestly think it's the peoples fault, not the forums. When they say off topic, they mean not Halo related, not going offtopic in the threads. Just cuz its offtopic dont mean it has to be a spamfest. Members turn threads into spamfests. So thats why members lock threads before hand, so theres no mess to clean up.

If you like the ability to go offtopic, try the FF

they should fix the description to more like "Anything that doesnt fit into a topic goes here" or something like that cuz it screwes people up when they see the word Off-Topic

If they actually read that, they'd see that it also says,"check the Rules before posting"

and i think this this topic is pointless we already talked about this in my topic about Royal being banned and BEEF said he would work on getting it fixed so i think this topic should just get the Majic Words"LOCKED"

well, i think that if the mods get upset over sumting or they might think the topic is going into spam or off-topic then they lock it, thats BS dude seriously

A lot of posts like the ones listed in the rules or like the "Post your Favorite Lyrics!" or stuff like that, ususally become spamfests, and the mods have learned from experience that these threads lead to problems. So, Why wait 'til It becomes a spamfest and clean up the mess, when you can avoid the whole thing, and lock it beforehand?

Sorry, I just thought that summed it up perfectly.

That isn't right, you should be able to be promoted even if you post in the cafe. I'm trying not to flame.

I'll ignore the bump, since I would like to correct you. You can be promoted if you post in the Cafe. As long as you don't spam the Cafe, you can be promoted.
