*cough* mbrly?...
Bradley wrote:Lastly: You need multiple games. Not just Counter-Strike, and Halo.
You need the newest ball-busting games like Battle Field 2, and Call of Duty 2, and Quake 4.
But you shouldn't forget the great oldies like Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Starcraft, and Red Alert.
All those games are on the PC, and that's what I was referring to.

What steps are you going to take to make sure no one steals any of the games or hardware?

Simple, Ombre. He can just set Administration restrictions on computer users only allowing them to play and use what he says they can.

:EDIT: Oh. yeah I was only thinkingabout pc. He can always use glass boxes like walmart =p There are a lot of things you can do.

Although I dont know if this is there already but the last time I went in one, they didnt have all the games on each pc...I know it might be hard to install them all individually or whatever but I found it really frustrating that we all had to move to be able to play a certain game and then move back when we wanted to play another...

Total Est. Time: 58 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 48.48 miles

I'll come visit you someday Aztec, and on that day, you better have your EVE subscription paid for... Along with EVE on every computer. :)

As for suggestions, make sure AIM/MSN/mIRC is installed.. I really hate going to cyber cafe's only to find that they're missing my methods of communication... And they don't let people download/install them. ;\

Lol, sounds cool, but make sure no one jacks the crap. I knew someone who worked at an Internet cafe and all their crap got jacked and he lost his job. You should get some Age of Empires II games in there too

I was never for the whole meeting-random-online-people-in-real-life-thing... :?

Hey all, Aztec's younger brother here, just thought I would register here..

Wow wheaton, what a small world!

We were also thinking about the projector idea although the problem is that the space is very limited for that. Gaming mice I think is a definite yes because currently they have a variety of mice and being a CSS gamer myself I am used to my G5 and it's scroll wheel and overall design.
Maybe tomorrow we could get some updated pictures of the place and post them up for you guys to see.

Make sure the inside is dark because it is a pain to use a computer with a huge light reflection on the monitor. :)

Okay.. hm.

What I've noticed around here in LAN parties, is that people love to play RTS and FPS.

Just a tip.

And also, if you want to get some extra cash in, bring around drinks and snacks.

;)

Good luck with it!

It will make the place more popular.

You also need mid sized boxes on both sides of the entrance with free what ever in it. Like really old nes games (for me) or hershey chocolates. =p
