Why don't normal users like myself have the ability to delete their posts?
Like we did before the merge.

So un1337, beware my advice. "On a burning bridge, your options are minimal at best,
Depending on where you stand and how much breath is in your chest"
I think, back then, you could delete your posts in certain forums. Cuz I remember not being able to delete a post one time but being able to do it another time.

Exactly, giving users back their ability to delete their own posts would mean no more accidental replys or accidental new topics, and no more user requests to admins/staff to delete their posts for them.
