Why is there like 10 pages of members with random jibberish?

I was just browsing and saw the latest member and went to memberlist.
Went back alot of pages and wow...

Just asking.

Halomods is getting spam-attacked again -_-
I noticed it a couple hours ago, this is the second time it has happened.

Yeah I looked to, I thought ppl were just signing in with random e-mails to get the user count higher, but I don't think that 100 ppl would be this organized to do that.....

Lmao loup.

Yea, I dont think someone will register 100 times with random names.
That will just be time consuming.

Nah, that's pointless. Blank accounts don't hurt us, unless it's this type of thing. Once they're created, it's not a problem.

My modded adminCP at HPC logs the IP of people who open the registration page, rather than just logging the posting IP on the board.

I had a series of multiple registration attempts from the same IP at the same time this morning. I was able to block the IP's. I still have them logged if admin here wants them, they dont match any of the members at HPC.

nice work on counting how many ppl were log'd but couldn't it have been multiple people? And what if one of them was going to possibly become the next generation modder at halomods? Why ban them all if one could have been a pro? O_O

Just a spambot. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Halomods needs an anti-spambot registration code.

A bot doesn't know what to type in there, so it can't register. We need to install a mod for that.

That would be Locke. And if not, maybe even Aztec. I thought he was long gone, but he actually posted a little recently. Does anyone know his AIM screen name?
