Hello, I am having trouble with Halo 3 matchmaking.

I had purchased the Halo 3 Heroic and Legendary map packs a few months ago, and I was able to use them readily. Recently, whenever I tried to go into matchmaking, it would say I don't have the maps to play any of the gametypes, aside from social slayer and multiteam (the only maps I could use were the ones in the original Halo 3). I had originally thought that It had something to do with the Halo Wars mythic map pack being released, and I couldn't play any of the maps because of the new mythic map pack, until my friend told me that he could play all of his maps, which were the same as mine.

I had also considered that I may have been banned? but I don't think I have really done anything to warrent a ban, and I can also use social slayer and multiteam, so I don't think that is the problem.

If anyone is having the same problem, and has figured out how to fix this, please respond.

Besides the fact that most Xbox 360's make it where you have to go to Custom Games Lobby, and hit "Select Map" so that it loads everything?

Try downloading them again?

Strangely enough, when I go to custom game, the maps are missing. I tried downloading again, and what happens is, the download starts, and then 3 seconds later, it says download complete. I will now try and delete the maps off of my hard drive and then download again.

It's supposed to happen like that. It just downloads the header if the full file is already there.

I think you may have a license problem.

A license problem? with Microsoft? sounds, hard to fix.

You can go somewhere on Xbox.com and view all of your licensed content, as well as changing the licenses on that content to work with whichever console you want.

It shows a list of all my content that I have downloaded, and sure enough, Heroic, Cold Storage, and Legendary are all there.

I had my console the whole time, I never used my account on another xbox 360, so I don't see how they could confuse my maps to a different account on a different console.

I'll try deleting my maps, and redownloading them.

This happens to me sometimes. Make sure you go to the map list so it loads all the downloaded maps.

Alternately, try clearing the cache. Hold Up and A when you start Halo 3.
