Well, I know I'm not the first guy this has happened to. I remember a while back that someone posted a thread about a guy just ramming the sword right into him and he was holding the sword like an Assault Rifle. It happened to me this time, on the same level as the other guy - The Pit.

Right-Click, Save-As
Done. New version up -- shows him getting raped by sniper.
Also, it's been pointed out that he looks like he's holding it like a Magnum or a Spiker more than an Assault Rifle. I find that to be very true.

I followed him to see what he did, but all I could see was that he had dual spikers and switched them for the sword. He was then holding it like an Assault Rifle.

Oh, and the video is encoded as x264 / .MP4, so if anyone needs me to convert it to a .wmv, I will.

The shotgun and some other weapons sometimes do lunges. I know I do a lot with the shotgun, magnums, and the maulers. Sometimes even the assault rifles and spiker's will do a bit of a lunge. Not at a huge distance like the sword though.

All weapons have lunging...Much like they did in halo 2.

That is lag, the lack of animations the sliding, the odd happenings. The thing is, until you can get the hosts video, this really doesn't show anything out of the ordinary because it just looks like lag.

In the thread that I was looking at on Halo 3 Forum, the guy was host and there was no lag at all. The guy just picked up the sword and held it like an Assault Rifle.
