Do you think think Bungie should stop announcing the people who get recon to stop making them hacker targets?
Or are the people responsible if they had given out their personal information?

poor, poor, lintendo.. .why would someone do something like this? its just so... primative! I think that they shouldn't give recon to special people, in fact, i think they shouldn't give it to anyone... i say;it has to all be ok or none of it is...

Some people who got the Valentine's Day Recon also got hacked, so I'm leaning towards not announcing it.Tural wrote:Old.unknownv2 wrote:http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=17347239

That's nice. I posted that like 3 weeks ago. You're a little late to respond. My first post was incorrect however, the third answer should have been "Yes." Nobody is just 'hacking' the accounts. They aren't brute forcing the Xbox Live accounts, they are either tricking people, or the people have stupid passwords. Either way, it is well withing the recipient's control.
Bump with no real purpose. This discussion is done. Why are replies still being added?
