i hear there has been sum talk about a REAL movie of halo or even a halo 4 r these true or just more rumors

Halo movie is cancelled.
Next Halo series game has not been announced, or even hinted at.

Plus, the Halo 3 section isn't exactly the place to discuss it.

I'm hoping for a Halo 4, but with a new name/weapons/enemies. But with the same old Master Chief.

Dident they say in one of the vidocs that this was the last halo game?

"It is the end of this story arc."
That is all that is confirmed. They didn't say the end of Halo, the end of Chief's story, anything. It's just the end of something undefined.

Not having Halo 4 wouldn't bother me. Having something like... Halo 3: The Lost Files or something along those lines would be epic. Being able to play MP as Grunts, Brutes, Flood, etc. Or play through Campaign as those characters, with extra levels and stuff. ;p

Isn't Peter Jackson still working on his Halo movie/game/thingamabob? I read somewhere that it was still in progress, but put on hold. I think it may have been the last EGM. I'll check in a bit...

That's not a movie, and it isn't part of the Halo series.

There isn't gunna be Halo 4 I'm almost positive and a Halo movie would just KILL the game. Look what happened to all the other ones...Bloodrayne, Hitman, Doom, to name a few...

That's not a movie, and it isn't part of the Halo series.

It's part of the Halo series.
It just doesn't follow the Master Chief has a central character.

I actually think they're going to come up with Marathon for xbox 360, following the chiefs story on another universe. A new one all 3d and epic looking

I consider Halo Wars part of the Halo Series of games.

We're just differing on terminology. When I stated series, I meant part of the Halo 1, 2, and 3 storyline. Much as with a series of events, being that one leads to another. That is not what the aforementioned project is. It is within the universe, but is not part of the Master Chief/numerical Halo series.

What are they gonna do with all the props that they made for the Halo movies then? (Warthog, guns, etc...) Just throw it out or something?
