I just got 750 Gamerpoints from Halo 3 and I didn't get my Security shoulder pieces. That kinda sux cuz I kinda wanted that armor. Anyway anybody got any clue as to how to get it if I couldn't get it with 750 gamerpoints?

The general consensus is that the security armor is bugged, and that you get it at some random gamerpoint number after 750. So, just keep doing achievements and you'll get them eventually.

Gracias was kind a no brainer...as for the security, Mine wasn't bugged i got it right on 750

The point is that it varies. That isn't speculation, it is fact. I got mine at like 540.

Yeah mine was all screwed up too. Didn't get it till like 870. But a friend of mine got his somewhere in the 400's. It was after I helped him beat it on Legendary.
Just keep getting gamerpoints and periodically check. You will get it sooner or later.

The real question is did anyone get commando shoulders? Do they plan to patch it or something lol? THough i don't play as elite very often it is annoying to see locked with 1000/1000.

ok well I got my Security Shoulders at exactly 795, lol. But now I'm trying to get my brother the Security, but hes already at 800 =/. Can't wait till that AU comes out.

I read somewhere that you get the shoulders after getting a certain number of achievments, not points.

ok, but it makes more sense that random point values
also, I got it at the number of awards they listed.
in any case, you eventually get them, or bungie hates your guts
