Hello everyone i'm cmandr and here is how to sword cancel in halo 3.Its not like the sword canceling in halo 2 but it still is.ok get a item like a bubble shield of deployable cover. and of course get a sword. find a player and make shure that when you aim on them it;s red. lund at them and then press x to release the bubble shield or whatever you have. you will lunge but then your character will use the item and will cancel the attack. you cannot go across the map with this but you can get to someone quicker and not kill them.
Ok now heres how to have no weapon...kinda its actually invisable.
anyway go into forge mode with yourself and another player(this only works in forge mode)spawn a weapon and set it down. get the other player to go up to it and pick it up. while the player is picking the weapon up you must be in editing mode and press a to select the item. if you did this corectly you will still have the item selected abd they will have picked up the weapon.on their screen the weapon will be there but when anyone else looks at them it will be gone.the weapon will still work but it will appear invisable.i suggest using this with human weapons or weapons that you can pick up more ammo on.for the player in editing mode do not delete the weapon just get a player to kill you but after that if the player with the invisable weapon switche(y) then it will become visable.
