Forge problem..

I'm doing a Forge map and I deleted all respawn points and set in new ones. I put one set as Attackers, and one set as Defensive (I was guessing red and blue teams kinda thing). So I go to play it in Team Slayer, but I respawned in an original spawn place, where I deleted the point.
Whats going on? Is it just because I might not have enough spawn points..?

There are a bunch of different types of spawn points.

There are some that are specific to a gametype... and there are some that are specific to only the initial spawn.

Also, if someone is close enough to your spawn point, bungie will spawn you elsewhere.

Yep, change the gametype to Slayer, and add some Attacker & Defender starting points on either end of your map. Adding a few more respawn points here and there wouldn't hurt either.

Well, my problem is I'm doing an indoor version of high ground. I blocked off the doors with heavy barricades and added teleporters and such connecting the base to the battle field. Maybe I could put some spawn points in the battle field.. I'll try the slayer thing first, though.

Thanks for the help :)

thats y it's default is neutral, attackers = reds only and defenders=blues only or the colors swapped. neutral means both this way you dont spawn in the middle of a battle

JK, I have the same problem on some of my maps. There really is no way to fix it.

In Forge, you spawn where every. But yea in Gametypes, It's just because someone is close to your spawn, it will automatically spawn you outside of your map, in some original spot.

In forge, you have to go into monitor mode click start go to game type and choose the one that your map will be played on. Now fly around until you find spawns that have glowing rings above them, these are called starting spawns and are what can spawn you out of the play area if you don't delete them. you should have 20 starting spawns when you delete all of the default ones.

for teams u need starting points and respawning area, these are the only ones that require a team setting not the respawn points themselves. Go to bungie.net on the home page there should be a h3 guide click on it and then on one of the 3 forge headlines.

no, respawn areas don't usually work, just set the spawns manually
