Halo 3 phantom driver seat

Well I was messing around and i finally managed to get an empty phantom in halo 3. Thing is, I can't find the driver seat. I know its probably around because when its upside down, no "press rb to flip" apears, but if i hit rb the phantom flips, so im figuring that the driver's seat is there, its just not telling me where. So...where did you get in a phantom's drive seat in the halo 2 mods? Ill post pics if I manage to drive it, and if I don't ill still post pics anyways. Thanks

In halo 2 I think the seats were made for AI and you had to swap the seats for a vehicle that normal players could enter.

The same exact thing could happen with Pelicans in Halo 2. I'm 99% sure you won't be able to enter it without modding.

Well, if you watch the video, that stupid floating easter-egg pelican is next.(you have to go into monitor mode and move around to see it though.)

have you guys even been inside a halo 3 phantom? there's no physics in it. or some of them don't that's all i can tell you. but ya try the front or entering it.

i would have though that in H3 they would have given them proper BSP collision but they dont. As for driving it, its not going to happen cause there was a hide seat bitmask on them in h2 and its probably the same for h3. As for getting inside of one, its easy but it is anoying how the walkways that hold the turrets dont have physics.

The pelican nor phantom have ever been drivable without mods, ever have nor ever will. Sorry :-/

uh that would only give them a reason to carve it in...since ppl coming by will be close to it -.- airplanes and helicopters see it from far away. and because it saves space. it's like why don't they make a dense model?
