Anyone using ANYTHING to cheat deserves to be banned. This news doesn't phase me one bit. I could care less what happens to the assholes. I guess this goes under my "decent to good" news category.

Well I remember that a bunch of people would switch their language to match up in lone wolves to get all their achievements.. im not sure if thats what hes talking about though

Detox, that isn't a glitch. That also does not violate any rules. The people being banned are those using 3rd party stuff to manipulate the game, mostly the game's networking stuff.

Bungie's already addressed that and the boosting where you go in with guests into social playlists and just win over and over. They said that it was completely legal and just embarrassing if you are caught doing it.

Completely false.
Although that's not even the way I was looking at it. I was saying it's easy to level up. You win one game and go up like 2-6 levels.

Altleast it didn't take too long for this to start. Hopefully they will keep a keen eye on cheaters this time around. I know at the end of Halo2's days it died down ALOT. But it seems this time they are getting hefty with it and keeping gameplay clean. I'm extremely happy to hear it.

Completely false.
The amount of levels you go up is determined by numerous factors.
The rank of the other team.
The XP of the other team.
How badly they did.
How good, individually, you did.

I played 17 games of Team Slayer one night and won them all and didn't go up a single time.

All points null and void.
