Has anyone else had weird problems with their copy? Things like on the last level, the warthog drives like the e brake is on all the time. And when the tower comes crashing down on the platform it takes out everything even the path your supposed to take. Then when I play the level again its there! Also I have problems getting the achievements, like the marathon man one, I accessed all the terminals, but no achievement. I beat it on legendary and again no achievement but I got the one on normal. any ideas?

It's all operator error. None of that is a game problem.
Handling is always like that, you just never drive it to where it seems to be.
Go to the hill on the left.
You have to wait through all of the screens. Let the text turn red, it goes to a second part.
You have to do the full level, you can't start at a rally point.

Yeah I know. What I am saying is when the tower came down it TOOK out the left path too, I had no where to go. I did start from arrival on legendary, I didnt use any rally points. I will try to get the terminals again. Can I do it on easy and still get the achievement?

The entire platform is never taken completely out, ever. You're either going the wrong way, or not paying enough attention.
Then you failed to finish something.
I don't know. Just don't play on Easy. It's terrible.

Doesn't the path break beyond recovery if you move too slow?

No. There is no limitation on time during the final segment.

unless you sit on one of the things that the warthogs are on when you play coop

That's not a time limitation. It is not reacting due to the time you take. That's like saying there's a time limit if you stand still and an enemy kills you. Those move at the same rate, regardless of whether you're still on them or not. It has nothing to do with the time you've taken.

I swear to God, I am haulin ass and I start to take the path to the left then the falling tower comes down and takes it all out, it only happened once so maybe it was a loading problem with the XBOX but it made me mad. I didnt take long at all to get there. Hell I dont know what happened.
I have already beat the game twice but what I am saying is can I still get marathon man on easy? I can blast right through it. Hell If I can beat it on normal in under 4 hours I am sure I can roll right through it on easy if it will give it to me.

You get nothing on Easy.

None of the other achievements work on easy.
Furthermore, let's say it doesn't, you'd end up doing Normal anyways. You can go right to the level and use a rally point. It would take less than an hour to do. Just do it on Normal. It's ridiculously easy.

yea i was quite disapointed in the lvl of dificulty in halo 3, its pretty easy even on legandary >.> oh well =/
A simple guide to making things more challenging:
Stop playing with 3 friends
Stop playing with 2 friends
Stop playing with 1 friend
Stop running past enemies because you're dying
Skulls are there to make the game more challenging

Two things for Tural :
1.) Yes, you can get "Marathon Man" on easy. I did it.
2.) Yes, there is a time limit. Theres two examples.
-----2a.) If you just wait where the warthog is that you are supposed to drive, around 1 minute from then you will just die. Just fall over dead.
-----2b.) If you are too slow on the track, then ENTIRE thing will fall.

There is no limit at all. There are probably scripts that when a player enters a trigger zone whatever parts fall, etc.

Well, I guess I wasn't dumb enough to cause those things to happen. I don't see why anyone would play on Easy, I don't see why someone would stand around when it's clear what they should be doing, and I don't see why you would go incredibly slow while everything around you is falling apart and you're trying to escape.

Some people feel like getting through the story faster than others, its a quick way to the ending...
Tural wrote:I don't see why someone would stand around when it's clear what they should be doing
They may have gotten distracted due to personal issues, or forgot to pause when using the restroom in the middle of the game...

To enjoy the scenery or maybe they're curios as to what would happen...
All of those questions are no-brainers... Does it really matter why he did it anyway?

If it doesn't matter why, then why are you giving possible reasons? You're arguing with yourself.

You asked a question, I answered...

Actually, I did not ask a question.

I guess you didn't but you seemed to not understand why anyone would do those things.
I was giving you possible explanations, not trying to instigate an argument.
P.S. If it did not matter then why post those statements?
